The room, though small, was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a hotpot for coffee lovers like myself. The breakfast spread was satisfying, and the personalized service from Patricia made each morning a delight. The common areas were tastefully decorated, adding a touch of charm to the overall experience. The complimentary shuttle service was a convenient addition, and the hotel's proximity to the train station made it easily accessible.While the impending construction obstructed part of the iconic Matterhorn view from my room, the breathtaking sight was only a few steps away. The hotel's blend of traditional and contemporary decor created a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Swiss Alps. The owners' attention to detail, particularly during festive seasons, was a pleasant surprise.Considering the prime location and the array of amenities offered, Welschen hotel presents a good value proposition for travelers seeking a comfortable stay in Zermatt. I appreciated the balance of luxury and affordability, making it a top choice for future visits to this picturesque destination.
